Bus Driver At C & F Transportation Inc., we aim to ensure all students are provided safe, efficient, and dependable transportation. We are currently looking for new and experienced Bus Drivers who wish to enter an environment that fosters career and professional growth. Responsibilities: -Safely transport passengers -Complete required pre and post-trip vehicle inspections properly -Load passengers on and off the company vehicle using the proper techniques -Communicates with dispatch team members -Safely operates company vehicle obeying all traffic laws -Understand and carry out written and oral instructions -Effectively communicate verbally with coworkers and others Requirements of a Bus Driver: -Have a Class A, Class B, or Class C CDL with Passenger endorsement (preferred). -One-year driver experience (preferred). -Have a valid New York State Drivers License. -Be able to pass DOT medical exam and drug screening. -Able to pass a Criminal Background Check -Minimum age 21 -Availability for flexible split shifts between 6:00 am - 6:00 pm preferred Opportunities to earn extra pay during school-sponsored field trips, sporting events, etc. Experienced drivers are preferred, but willing to provide training for drivers wishing to enter this excellent career field.
