Job Description | This is a full time, twelve-month position responsible for serving as the training director in the School Psychology program providing supervision for doctoral interns, including interns placed at the SFA Charter School training site. Works under limited supervision, with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. Reports to the department chair. |

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities | The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills, and abilities or be able to explain and demonstrate that the individual can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Required Education | Terminal degree in applied area of psychology (i.e., school psychology, clinical psychology) is required. |
Required Experience and Training | Three years of related experience is required. Experience in graduate-level teaching and supervision is required. Experience in K-12 as a school psychologist or related work in the K-12 setting and/or work with children and adolescents is required. Experience in assessment of children and adults from diverse backgrounds is required. Experience in supervision of practicum and internship students is required. Licensure as a psychologist and as a specialist in school psychology (LSSP) in Texas is required. |
Preferred Qualifications | Experience with the Deep East Texas community, local ISDs, and community health agencies is preferred. |
Special Conditions for Eligibility | This is a security-sensitive position subject to criminal record check. This is an IT-sensitive position subject to the Computer and Network Security policy. |

Benefit and Retirement Eligibility | This position is eligible for participation in the Optional Retirement Program (ORP), subject to the position being full-time and at least 4 ½ months in length, or the Teacher Retirement System of Texas (TRS) retirement plan, subject to the position being at least 20 hours per week and at least 135 days in length. |
