Position Overview

The Invoicing Specialist role is within the Utility Asset Management team of Davey Resource Group. The Invoice Specialist is a part of the Operation Support team and provides an integral role to our client billing support.This is a Full-time, exempt position, with a salary range of 55-60k. The reporting location will be the UAM Headquarters in Richfield, OH. The position is in person with flexibility for a hybrid schedule after successfully completing training. The idea candidate would be able to build strong relationships with our operations team, accounting department, and our client's Accounts Payable Departments. Seeking strong analytical, problem-solving skills, and eagerness to join a driven and fast-paced team!

Job Duties

What You'll Do:

Collect and validate billing information from internal systems, client packages, and production records.
Work with operations teams to resolve any discrepancies or missing information.
Prepare accurate and timely invoices based on approved billing data and customer contracts.
Interface with SAP S4 system to create financial billing documents.
Verify and billing formats, rates, discounts, and terms to ensure proper invoicing. Then distribute invoices to customers through appropriate channels (email, mail, online portals) and confirm receipt.
Maintain organized and up-to-date billing records, including invoices, payment receipts, and customer communications.
Collaborate with internal departments, such as Operations and Development, to address customer concerns, billing disputes, and resolve any issues.
Maintain positive customer relationships by delivering excellent service and demonstrating a customer-centric approach.
Maintain a broadly accessible database including invoice header data, submission dates, copies of documents, submission method, and submitter.
Identify opportunities to improve billing processes, enhance efficiency, and reduce errors.

Qualifications

Skills We're Seeking:

2-5 years of relevant work experience in billing or accounting functions
BA preferred or 3 years relevant work experience
Experience working with data from SAP, Kronos, Excel, Prism, google suite preferred
Proficiency in ERP (SAP/S4) billing processes (Training provided)
Proficiency in client-operated systems and portals (Training provided)
Excellent problem-solving and forward-thinking skills
Knowledge of rules and regulations (GAAP, SOX, FDCPA)
Excellent analytical skills
Ability to adapt to rapidly changing business needs and processes
