Position Summary:
The HHC Digital Reporting Analyst plays a pivotal role in our team under the direction of the ITS Digital Services Director. You will spearhead the design, build, testing, implementation, training, and support of operational and analytical solutions, ensuring our healthcare services maintain the highest standards of efficiency and patient care. As a key member of our Digital Solutions team, you'll collaborate closely with stakeholders to craft and deliver sophisticated visualizations and analytic solutions. Your dedication to detail and passion for empowering others will be instrumental as you work with various teams to meet user specifications and operational needs.
Position Responsibilities:
Key Areas of Responsibility
Development:
· Engage Stakeholders and end users to define data requirement and goals.
· Lead discussions with a team of varying stakeholders to identify functional requirements and develop system specifications.
· Design and develop interactive dashboards, ensuring technical and visual considerations.
Data & Governance:
· Recommend data structures that optimize analytical applications.
· Communicate data structure changes effectively to the data governance team.
· Perform data modeling and utilize data preparation tools for profiling and transformations.
· Uphold data governance processes and integration standards.
Business:
· Translate business needs into actionable visualizations for stakeholders.
· Demonstrate understanding of healthcare terms, processes, and Epic applications.
Best Practices:
· Provide guidance on Digital Strategy development based on industry best practices.
· Ensure consistency in analytics design and approach across supported areas.
· Adhere to visual design principles and maintain documentation standards.
User Community:
· Offer technical support and mentorship for self-service initiatives.
· Participate in User Community events and provide end-user training
· Create content for repeatable processes and end-user training materials
Support:
· Ensure smooth operation of production environments and handle tickets promptly.
· Maintain clear communication with customers, documenting all activity related to tickets.
· Provide ad-hoc data analysis and support to business functions as needed.
Perform other related duties as required.
