Job DescriptionThe mission of the Insights team is to deliver business intelligence, analysis, and perspectives on relevant issues in the real estate technology market. We do so by bringing domain expertise to our client's real estate technology programs, converting information into insights, and identifying whitespaces in our services or products.
As an Analyst, you will work closely with other domain experts and cross-functional teams to gather and translate business intelligence gained from client case work into actionable insights. The ideal candidate will have experience as the key interface between the users and the real interest in creating new solutions. You will be responsible for solving our client's problems through analysis of business requirements, critical thinking, and program execution. You will be joining a fast-paced and exciting environment, where you will work with multidisciplinary teams to create solutions that meet the company's strategic goals.
Key responsibilities include:
Strategically partner with key stakeholders to enable informed decisions about approach and share best practices and improvement opportunities relative to technology systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional team, turning information into value, identifying desired end state and anticipated business value/impact.
Presenting findings and recommendations in formal business system documents, such as, Business Requirements Document, Business Cases, Framing Documents, etc.
Researching and documenting functional and technical gaps
Manage backlog prioritization, ensuring user stories/requirements (including defects, enhancements, & system performance) have clearly defined acceptance criteria and context
Manage and coordinate all development work being done for DEV, QA and PROD release of upgrades, enhancements, customizations, break/fix, and configuration changes to the Product environment to ensure roadmap alignment and consistency
Own product roadmap, engaging Product Sponsors to ensure strategic alignment and agile pivots in the context of a dynamic organizational environment
Evaluate data, perform analysis, and recommend improvement strategies to stakeholders
Release management: Work with Devs and PM to determine release timing of enhancements and defect fixes (post-launch). Ensure new features / workflows meet requirements (UAT) and are functional in production environment.
Documentation / Training: Oversee SOPs, playbooks, and wiki pages, and Communications team members. Oversee timely training of team (workflow designers), and revisions to training materials.
Foster collaboration and promote culture and values throughout team.
This individual will:
Bring 3+ years of work experience in technology consulting
Work with various areas and teams to share and build upon best practices, identify pain points, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement
Create quality artefacts by establishing structure and content, while leveraging existing assets, ensuring a high standard of quality and timeliness
Work collaboratively with fellow analysts to transform data into actionable insights or recommendations for internal teams
Possess a focused and analytical mind-set, with an aptitude for problem solving
Facilitate decision making through a methodical approach of identifying clients desired end state and best path to achieve
Possess excellent requirements gathering and documentation skills
Be highly-effective in a remote and global environment while demonstrating cultural sensitivity and a willingness to work outside of normal business hours when necessary
Bring passion and determination to turn ideas and visualizations into finished products
Be extremely detail-oriented, bring solid organizational and time management skills, and a capacity to prioritize in a complex, fast-paced environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Fluency in English is required
HTML knowledge or experience is a plus
Experience in building, creating, and designing websites or landing pages like XWiki open-source platform is a plus
A bachelor's degree in business, science or arts is preferred
