A Client/Employer in Stanton, TN is looking for a Quality Engineer. This individual must be flexible to significant travel during initial plant start-up phase, and ability to support any shift in a 7-day work week. Daily responsibilities will include:
* Manage and monitor environment of quality evaluation through 3R and 5S
* Review gate safety and reliability assessments in advance
* Respond to requirement of marketing and cell development; RFQ assessment (request for qualifications)
* Analyze test conditions, conduct tests and report test results
* Review and approve results of safety, performance, and reliability tests in the process of gate evaluation.
* Conduct regular test of shipment safety and mass production reliability test
* Manage assets and maintain instruments
* Plan and implement monthly calibration

* Bachelor's Degree in Chemical, Material, Electrical, Electronic or Industrial Engineering or a related field
* 4+ years of experience in Quality Engineering
* Strong knowledge of 3Rs (reduce, reuse, recycle)
* Strong knowledge of 5s (sort, set in order, shine, standardize, sustain)
* Experience working in an Automotive or Manufacturing industry
* Experience working on a start-up plant
* QMS implementations/experience with production validation process preferred
* 3 years of experience developing and managing quality systems
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office
* Must be able to analyze and resolve issues quickly through route cause analysis and drive change back to the production departments.
