Job Overview
What your background should look like:
• Generate reports (standard and customized) related to project execution.
• Lead a team of Project Managers.
• Manage project scope, schedule, and budget for projects within the assigned business segment.
• Develop and manage project plans and (as needed) gap closure plans.
• Follow established Stage Gate processes and ensure the integrity of project deliverables.
• Plan and lead Stage Gate reviews for business segment management.
• Utilize enterprise-level project systems to manage project plans, data, and actions.
• Manage project capital budgets and ensure execution in alignment with the business unit financial plan.
• Ensure projects are completed in accordance with business unit objectives for On-Time Delivery and Quality.
• Establish and maintain project scope throughout the project lifecycle, including initial setting of scope and scope change management.
• Establish and maintain an accurate project schedule using TE’s project management tool or similar tools based on commitments from Core team members, customers, and all project stakeholders.
• Conduct status meetings with internal Core Team and external customers.
• Track project lessons learned and manage best practices.
• Proactively identify and resolve risks and issues and establish an escalation path for all projects.
• Manage and report out monthly at KPI reviews.
• Communicate frequently, clearly, and concisely with the project team and all stakeholders, including senior management.
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a related field.
• A minimum of 10 years’ experience in managing projects with new product development and sustaining projects.
• General knowledge of Operations/Manufacturing processes.
• Industry experience in the connector market would be desirable.
• Experience with LEAN development processes and gate milestone development.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Culturally sensitive.
• Experience running global projects with virtual teams.
• Strong ability to set goals and lead and motivate team members.
• Ability to work within a cross-functional team to customize variable reports.
• Ability to run multiple projects simultaneously with a global focus.

COMPENSATION
• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $97,000 – $122,000 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
