Job Description:
Job Title: IT Technical Analyst/Informatics Support Specialist

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Evaluate software solutions against requirements and recommend options.
Enforce data governance policies to ensure high-quality data capture.
Maintain knowledge of CFR 21 Part 11, and EMA and FDA data-related guidelines.
Identify gaps in projects and strategies and recommend resolution methods.
Lead the identification and implementation of lab equipment automation and data management solutions to optimize and streamline data processes.
Assist in the analysis and troubleshooting IT infrastructure performance, identify, and resolve issues as they arise.
Collaborate with local & global IT professionals to ensure the IT infrastructure is reliable, secure, and scalable.
Collaborate with Business Analysts to collect detailed and accurate business requirements and the creation / execution of test plans.
Document the IT infrastructure's configuration and procedures, ensuring that they are up-to-date and easily accessible to other IT professionals. Assist with training and documentation with new system implementations / upgrades.
Develop meticulous test plans and test cases based on functional and technical specifications to ensure software performance
Act as a key interface between the business and delivery team to ensure business needs are clearly understood, ensure communication between the parties is effective and user expectations are managed. Manage a variety of tasks concurrently and show flexibility of work patterns to meet timeframes and delivery.
Assess the impact of change on existing systems and processes and manage their impact in conjunction with service management teams to ensure change happens in a controlled way, with minimal disruption to business activities.
Communicate effectively with management to enhance their understanding of the opportunities and limitations of information systems
Comply with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, other regulatory requirements, company policies, operating procedures, processes, relevant GxP compliance requirements and task assignments.
Maintain positive and cooperative communication and collaborate with all levels of employees, contractors, and vendors.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Requires a Master's degree in Microbiology and 6 years of experience in job offered or 6 years of experience in the Related Occupation.
