Job Description

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

The Assembler will be responsible for product assembly in a production environment in accordance with current Good Manufacturing Practices.

 

YOUR ROLE

  • Assemble, inspect, test and package mechanical and electrical components.
  • Uses templates and drawings to complete product according to specifications
  • Must be able to use a variety of hand tools, such as screwdriver, soldering iron, Hydraulic and Arbor presses and specially designed test equipment.
  • Must be able to recognize material defects in components.
  • Requires a high degree of hand-sight coordination.  Occasionally high degree of finger dexterity required.
  • Requires the ability to read, write, and follow written instructions and blueprint instructions.  Must be able to take accurate measurements.
  • Must be familiar with the assembly procedures for a variety of sub-assemblies.
  • Follow all company instructions, safety policies and rules.
  • Perform other duties as required and/or assigned.
  • Ensure work area and equipment is kept clean and orderly at all times.
  • Complete all company assigned training courses.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

YOUR BACKGROUND

  • High School Diploma or equivalence
  • Must be able to stand for duration of the shift
  • Consistent and regular attendance is a requirement of the position
  • Ability to read and follow directions
  • Able to lift to 35 lbs. without assistance
  • Requires frequent lifting, bending, and twisting
  • Prior warehouse experience preferred
