UW Medicine Enterprise Revenue Cycle (ERC) has an outstanding opportunity for a SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER (Senior PM)

Work Schedule
  • 100% FTE

    POSITION HIGHLIGHTS
  • Provide program and project management leadership for enterprise/strategic initiatives, programs, and projects that impact ERC and other Departments/Entities across UW Medicine
  • Responsible for program definition, program roadmap development and maintenance, governance setup, project pipeline and prioritization management, and program/project delivery
  • Plan and direct business process development, SBAR creation, cost-benefit analysis, ROI tracking, and data analysis as well as facilitate business requirements
  • Develop and maintain appropriate program and project management plans, program roadmap, project schedules, status reports, and other project artifacts as needed.

    DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION
    UW Medicine Enterprise Revenue Cycle (ERC) is made up of numerous shared services departments and is accountable for the Revenue Cycle functions of UWMC and HMC with close collaboration with Finance and Faculty Practice Plan Services (FPPS)

    PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead program/project initiation and planning phases
  • Actively identify manage program/project issues and risks
  • Manage scope, budget/ROI, and schedule for assigned programs/projects
  • Communications, customer relationships, and progress/status reporting
  • Manage execution of programs/projects within standard program/project framework
  • Manage implementation and post-implementation closeout for assigned programs/projects
  • Manage vendor execution and deliverable
  • Manage assigned program/project staff in execution of program/project tasks
  • Contribute to ERC program/project management standards, culture, and activities

    REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's degree in a health-care oriented profession, a business-related field, or other disciplines that demonstrate analytical or communications abilities
  • Six years’ experience:
  • Working on process improvement or vendor solution implementation projects
  • Managing program/project work within an established standard program/project lifecycle framework
  • Experience effectively working with multiple, diverse stakeholders (from executives and leadership to staff) in a project environment
  • Experience in a customer-facing role
  • Proven experience in a program/project leadership role with progressively complicated programs/ projects
  • Working as a PMO within a PMO that has a standard set of program/project tool and templates
  • Formal training and/or certification on PMI-based program/project management techniques
  • Advanced knowledge of and experience with MS Office tools: Project, Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Outlook
