If you are a Quality Specialist looking for an exciting role working with industry leaders, look no further! Black Box is hiring a Data Center Quality Specialist as part of our strategic growth initiative to work with our customer, Meta - the largest social media giant in the world.

The Quality Specialist plays an important role in Black Box's data center deployment program by monitoring all phases of the project to ensure that all external and internal requirements are met before the product reaches our customer. The goal of this position is to assure the high quality of our operations and services leading to the long-term success of our business.

Essential Functions are:
Assists with the development of the overall quality plan to support the data center rollout, including quality around technical delivery, logistics and inventory controls
Prepare Quality Assurance (QA) scheduled reports (e.g. defects, installation deficiencies, and project level QA measurements)
Participate in daily pre-task planning meetings for sign-off and engagement of QA/QC activities
Provide regular feedback to the technical team on all quality observations and recommendations for improvement
Provide approval and verification on all inspection and test plans for all work performed by technicians
Identifies, records, documents and tracks deficiencies and corrective actions
Facilitates communications with internal and external teams to identify system requirements, failures, and process improvements
Tracks quality assurance metrics, such as defects, marginal results, and project specific KPI's
Stays up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies and trains installers as necessary
Conducts periodic training needs assessment and develop a trade related curriculum based on identified skill/ knowledge gap
Conduct hands-on field training related to structured cabling best practices and testing
Provides second layer of support to Logitech on receipt of materials
Responsible for the fabrication of First-Of-Kind [FOK] and oversee and document all First-of Kind [FOK] for any new task not previously performed
Perform frequent inspections, (Work in Progress [WIP], First-Of-Kind [FOK], ENS Ready, Punchlist)
Management of BIM 360 Field Management, (Checklists/ Issues)
Review and maintain testing results, documentation and Linkware Live
Education/Experience Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
Knowledge of Project/Construction QA, testing and installation methodologies, tools, and processes
Certifications in QC is a strong advantage and RCDD/DCDC preferred
Knowledge of TIA and NEC Standards, of BICSI and data center installation standards and BIM 360 and Linkware Live
Work experience in infrastructure deployment and quality assurance
Experience working in a hyper-scale data center build and fiber and copper performance testing is a plus
