Position Summary
The School of Social Work at The University at Buffalo, State University of New York (SUNY) is seeking a full-time Clinical Assistant or Associate Professor.

Duties include:
  • Teaching existing and developing new MSW courses in seated, hybrid, and online formats.
  • Advising students
  • Participating in other faculty responsibilities.


Seeking applicants with expertise in:
  • Teaching courses at the foundation-year level.
  • Teaching courses in the area of aging.

Minimum Qualifications
  • MSW from a CSWE-accredited school/department of social work.
  • Experience teaching social work courses
  • License eligibility in New York State
Preferred Qualifications
  • LMSW/LCSW or equivalent credential in another state.
  • Two-years of post-MSW practice experience.
  • Experience teaching in online or hybrid format.
Physical Demands
Salary Range Commensurate with experience
