About the Job
Job Description:
Work Hours: 15 hours a week during summer 2024
Job Duties
-Scan and file accounting documents in e-filing system
-Enter procurement card information into PeopleSoft Financials -keep track of documents -type information into system timely and accurately -contact staff by phone or email to obtain missing documents -maintain and update tracking system in Google Sheets
-Enter invoices to pay external vendors -Type information for payment into PeopleSoft Financial accurately -Verify remit-to address and use correct account string -Contact departmental accountant with invoice discrepancies
-Data entry for internal vendor payments -Update monthly spreadsheet to charge U of MN departments for services provided by ISSS for visa processing -Accurate entry of information into Microsoft Excel -Modify vendor payments in financial system as requested by departmental accountant
-Miscellaneous tasks as assigned -Perform office errands on campus, deliver campus mail, make copies, assist with typing of finance forms -Run queries in financial system
Qualifications
Required Qualifications: -Applicants are expected to have two years of post high school work experience and or education
Preferred Qualifications: -Experience with PeopleSoft Financials, Google Suite, Microsoft Excel
