Job Summary:

The role is responsible for overseeing the Vail Purchasing Warehouse, Mailroom, and Uniform Distribution Center. The roll supports the Resort Operations department with procurement, inventory, and organizing delivery and pickups with the Denver truck. The Assistant Manager also fulfills day-to-day responsibilities of the organization as needed and performs all tasks for which the work group is responsible.

Job Specifications:

  • Outlet: Vail

  • The budgeted range starts at $55,000 - $71,131. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience

  • Shift & Schedule Availability: Full Time, Year Round

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage and tracking of warehouse and uniform operations, report as needed

  • Promote a safe, fun, organized, and efficient work environment

  • Interface and collaborate with all departments; work with all depts. to coordinate deliveries and pickups

  • Own organization, storage, and cleanliness of the Loading dock

  • Responsible for ordering materials and assist with Capital purchases for the Lift Maintenance department

  • Create Purchase Orders, handle invoicing, facilitate with vendors regarding payments, etc.

  • Track inventory, and run reports as necessary to maintain best accuracy of inventory

  • Responsible for time and labor for direct reports (if needed)

  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years supervisor experience- required

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, college degree preferred​​​​​​​

  • Excellent knowledge of basic computer programs- required

  • Excellent professional verbal and written communication with internal and external customers

  • Must have excellent problem solving skills

  • Must be very detail oriented with strong organizational skills

  • Be able to multi-task several duties at once

  • Must be able to work independently

  • Communicate effectively with co-workers and managers of all levels

  • Be willing and available to work weekends and holidays as needed

  • Diver license with clean driving record

  • Must be willing to be forklift certified

  • Familiarity with general maintenance items

  • Must have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly

The expected pay range is $55,000 - $71,131. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
