General Maintenance Worker

$18-$19/hr. + DOE

Monday-Thursday with some Fridays, 6am-4:30pm

For over 50 years a local trailer manufacturing company in the Sheldon, IA area has been committed to their customers, suppliers, and co-workers. They are hiring a General Maintenance Worker to join their growing team. This General Maintenance worker works on a team and independently to trouble shoot problems and conduct machinery maintenance.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct machinery maintenance
• Trouble shoot any plumbing problems or projects
• Perform light carpentry and electrical work
• Operate a forklift, scissor lift and other machinery
• Follow procedures for all regulatory programs

 Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED
• Knowledge of fabrication equipment, hydraulics, and pneumatics
• Valid Driver’s license and CDL, with a good driving record
• Experience with CMMS software
• Knowledge of HVAC systems
