As an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer I here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our manufacturing operations. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to optimize production processes, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve operational excellence. With your expertise and leadership, you will contribute to the growth and success of our organization. You will report directly to our Sr. Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Manager and you'll work out of our Rocky Mount, NC location.
In this role, you will impact our manufacturing operations by optimizing production processes and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Your contributions will lead to increased efficiency, reduced costs, and improved quality in our manufacturing operations. Your expertise will help us stay at the forefront of advanced manufacturing technologies and ensure that we deliver innovative and high-quality products to our customers. Your contributions will directly impact our bottom line and help us maintain our position as a global technology leader. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and oversee advanced manufacturing processes to ensure quality, efficiency, and productivity
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize production processes and drive continuous improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement advanced manufacturing technologies
- Analyze production data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to manufacturing teams
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards

YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
- 1+ year of co-op or internship in related field.
WE VALUE
- Desired Advanced Engineering degrees like Aerospace Engineering, ME (Mechanical Engineering) etc. based on job title
- Hands on experience in mechanical troubleshooting
- Manufacturing experience understanding laser marking, braze processes, fixturing and tooling

Mechanical Systems & Components provides a wide range of mechanical products and value-adding services to Honeywell Aerospace customers, including aircraft manufacturers and operators, and agencies of the U.S. government. The business develops and manufactures air and thermal systems, mechanical components, and wheels and braking systems. It also manages and operates facilities for the Federal government. Every 5 seconds, an aircraft lands with Honeywell Wheels and brakes. The entire fleet of U.S military fighters and trainers use Honeywell Cabin Pressure Systems.
