Your Opportunity as an Analyst, Indirect Procurement - Logistics

Support total category plans and execution for over $300M in annual logistics expenditures. Collaborate with and support the Logistics and Distribution teams to effectively execute key workstreams related to the sourcing and management of transportation, warehousing, and other relevant logistics categories.

Location: Orrville, OH

Work Arrangements: Hybrid

In this role you will:

Identify, assess, and onboard prospective suppliers that align with strategies supporting key logistics functions

Support internal logistics stakeholders with ongoing industry analysis, supplier relationship management, and risk mitigation techniques

Serve as technical expert for procurement software supporting all formal sourcing activities

Collaborate with internal reporting and analytics teams to streamline activities related to the effective sourcing of logistics categories

What we are looking for:

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in business or related field

1+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management or Logistics Procurement

Intermediate or advanced experience with Microsoft Excel (i.e. pivot tables, v-lookups, macros)

Additional skills and experience that we think would make someone successful in this role:

Strong negotiation skillset

Analytical Thinking- The ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information in a logical, systematic, sequential approach

Written & Oral Communication- The ability to effectively express oneself in speech and via written word across international working groups

Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team, including cross-functional groups

Experience with specialized equipment transportation is a plus
