JOB TITLE: Associate Director, Business Analysis

LOCATION: 11000 Optum Circle, Eden Prairie, MN 55344

DUTIES: Conduct organizational studies and evaluations, design systems and procedures, conduct work simplification and measurement studies, and prepare operations and procedures manuals to assist management in operating more efficiently and effectively. Duties include: Responsible for direct collaboration and consultation with the organization’s leadership and their business operations, finance, and account management teams; Build relationships with these teams to understand the holistic process, documenting findings, and presenting new products, methods, and processes that will allow for and create benefits for the organization; Design and constantly update highly complex financial models that inform strategic partnerships priorities and drive the pursue of most meaningful engagements; collect and organize relevant business and market data to propose process improvements, cost-saving efforts, performance enhancing, and gap closing initiatives; conduct interviews and workflow analysis to detect performance bottlenecks and inefficiencies to generate a remediation strategy to products’ leadership; analyze provider’s financial reports to create whitepapers identifying trends and proposing actionable recommendations to address total cost of care; present analysis results and collaborate closely with products’ leadership and their teams to support successful organizational change to drive competitiveness; formulate value-based care strategies that leverage enterprise assets and defined roadmaps; plan, manage, and evaluate pilots implementing robust statistical and econometrical analysis to validate outcomes; oversee market research and review of industry trends reporting, identify and highlight new product opportunities across complex specialty conditions; lead due diligence for strategic partnership business cases; carefully layout comprehensive business cases for the acquisition of assets that satisfy enterprise thresholds of ROI and navigate the enterprise to obtain leadership buy-in; ideate and implement an M&A sourcing model hyper specialized for the healthcare categories of the business unit, coordinate with multiples stakeholders to align on roadmap; develop and inform detailed financial synergies models of potential M&A targets analyzing operational and technological impacts; create legal and operational mechanisms to ensure service level agreements on contracted new partners; and assess and evaluate vendor demos to inform strategic efforts and advancing the enterprise goals. The position reports to the Eden Prairie, MN office and allows for partial telecommuting.
