Genesis10 is seeking a Developer for a contract with our client in St. Paul, MN. 100% Remote.
Job Description:
The AQ Sensor System project aims to build a new custom data system to aggregate data from non-regulatory air quality sensors. The client has an initiative to support the public in monitoring the air using off-the-shelf sensors from several different companies, along with public engagement and education. The system will harvest sensor data from the different commercial platforms, aggregate it in a central database for analysis by clientstaff, and provide a web interface where the public can view and download the data.
Key Responsibilities:
For each role identified below, Consultant(s) will before the tasks listed below. Additional tasks may be added in the Work Request when agreed to by both Parties.
Collaborate with business analysts, quality analysts, and developers to produce software designs
Create program specifications and basic prototypes
Transform software designs and specifications into high functioning code in the appropriate language
Integrate individual software solutions to higher level systems
Test code periodically to ensure it produces the desirable results and perform debugging when necessary
Perform upgrades to make software and systems more secure and efficient
Create documentation for solutions
Provide knowledge transfer
Required Basic Qualifications:
Four (4) years of experience developing applications with for one or more of the following technology stacks:
.Net
C-sharp
Angular
Drupal
Xml
Php
Python
SQL
PL/SQL
Postgres
One (1) year of experience using remote collaboration tools such as: Microsoft Teams, Skype, SharePoint, etc.
Strong communication skills
Strong problem-solving skills
This position requires demonstrated competency in the modeling, development and optimization of PostgreSQL and Oracle databases. Required development skills include SQL, Postgres PL/pgSQL, and Oracle PL/SQL. The ability to read and interpret the R programming language is preferred.
Compensation:
Hourly W2 pay rate $
We have access to additional contract, contract-to-hire, and direct hire positions with various rate ranges.
