NY1497571 Part Time Gardener The Arkell Museum and Canajoharie Library seek a knowledgeable and capable part - time seasonal gardener for May 1-October 1. This position is 5 hours per week and pays $15.00 an hour for a total of 100 hours. Gardener may work flexible morning, afternoon, or evening hours as best fits their schedule. Gardener reports to the facilities manager. Responsibilities include managing the garden beds/pots, hedge trimming, and general bed maintenance (weeding, clearing, watering as needed); bulb and/or additional planting as discussed and with mutual agreement from buildings and grounds staff. No mowing. Recommendations for low-care perennial expansion very welcome!
