JOB REQUIREMENTS: Associate Manager, Global Corporate and Brand
PR/Business Unit Communications - 26453 ABOUT THE ROLE The Associate
Manager, Global Corporate and Brand PR and Business Unit Communications
will work as part of the Corporate and Brand PR team and Business Unit
Communications team. This role is global in scope, working directly with
business unit marketing team members to provide brand public relations
counsel and guidance, which includes governance counsel and direction in
accordance with SC Johnson policies. Further, you will support issue and
crisis management as needed. This role may also work in support of
corporate/brand activations, including large scale partnerships. In this
role, you are responsible for developing and executing plans and content
for external and internal audiences. You will also provide guidance and
counsel to regional business leaders and functions, as and when
appropriate, to ensure consistent and coherent communication of SCJ\'s
corporate narrative that strategically enhances and proactively protects
the company\'s image and reputation. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES \* Work with
brand marketing teams to develop strategies for, and execution of, brand
public relations \* Coordinate brand public relations activities at the
direction of the Senior Director, or a Director, Global Corporate and
Brand PR. \* Develop trusted relationships with business unit colleagues
at multiple levels within the organization. \* Work effectively with
agency partners on development and execution of brand PR activities. \*
Support members of the Global Corporate and Brand PR group on
development and execution of corporate brand activations. \* Work
cooperatively with members of GCACS team on communications, community
relations and government relations activities. \* Protect the SC Johnson
corporate brand through understanding and application of corporate
governance policies and practices in all public communications. BENEFITS

QUALIFICATIONS: REQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU\'LL BRING \* BA/BS degree in
public relations, communications, marketing, or related field with 5+
years of public relations experience in corporate communications or PR
agency, or advanced degree with 3+ years\' experience of public
relations in corporate communications or PR agency PREFERRED EXPERIENCES
AND SKILLS \* Excellent business, news and feature writing skills \*
Experience in consumer products goods public relations, both strategy
and execution. Agency experience a plus. \* Ability to find, build and
tell brand-based stories \* Ability to provide strong counsel, handle
conflict and understand need to escalate \* Ability to work closely with
colleagues in different disciplines, including marketing, legal, and
external agency partners \* A keen sense of business acumen and
conversant in product marketing \* Experience working on programs and
campaigns in global markets \* Takes into account other people\'s
perspectives and culture, in order to build trusting relationships,
develop win-win solutions and resolve conflicts \* Ability to
independently manage multiple priorities in a fast paced and deadline
driven environment, with highest quality and quantitative outputs \*
Maintains composure and high-performance standards in challenging
situations \* Self-starter, proactive, able to work both independently
