This position will be responsible for verifying the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments and orders. Comparing identifying information with bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records. Verifying that materials received are as ordered. May route incoming items within the company as directed. Maintaining related records.
Duties and Responsibilities
Receive incoming materials.
Ship finished goods and raw materials.
Move materials to and from storage areas including production.
Enter warehouse transactions data into Oracle
Stock finished goods and raw material.
Deliver material coming from building vendors.
Engage with carriers and use carrier shipping system (FedEx)
Required Skills and Experience
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)
Attention to detail and accuracy
Basic understanding of shipping and receiving procedures
Problem-solving skills
Education: High School graduate or equivalent.
Travel: None
Preferred Skills and Experience
Previous warehouse or dock experience
Forklift certification
Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit or stand, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel small and medium sized components. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and to lift weight or exert force up to 50 pounds. The employee in this position works in an environment where they may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, outdoor weather conditions, there is a risk of electrical shock, and there is vibration. The employee may be subject to higher noise levels, or work near moving mechanical parts.
The successful candidate's starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills and experience. Liberty Lake, WA: The base salary for this position is $15.87-$44.23 per hour.
