Part-Time Bus Drivers

Grand View University is seeking part-time bus drivers for our 33-passenger bus. The 2016 Glaval bus is a Legacy model with a Freightliner chassis, Cummins diesel engine and Allison transmission. The GVWR is 26,000 pounds.

We are seeking customer-service oriented individuals with a pleasant, patient and friendly attitude. Part-time hours will vary based on activity but will predominantly include night and weekend hours to various sporting events.

Requirements include:

Must have a Class B Commercial Driver�s License rated to at least 26,000 GVWR with a passenger endorsement.
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Previous passenger bus driving experience preferred.
Must be a safety-oriented, patient, non-aggressive driver with an excellent driving record, and no felony records.
Must be customer service oriented.
Bus drivers will represent our university so they must be neat in appearance.
Must be detailed oriented to maintain accurate driver logs.

Pre-employment background check and driver�s license records check are required. In addition, employed drivers will be subject to at least an annual driver�s license records check in accordance with the University�s Vehicle Use Policy.
