EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

Job Description:
SUMMARY: Perform a variety of tasks in support of production operations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.

-Removes laser cut parts from sheet metal and prepares if for the next operation.
-Reads job specifications (e.g. blueprints, quality control plans and/or traveler notes) to ensure conformance.
-Assists with production including receiving and shipping, fabrication, etc.
-Preps and cleans work piece surfaces using a variety of hand tools such as grinders to remove slag, scratches and burs.
-Cleans equipment and machines.
-Helps change out parts/materials.
-Assist with locating, lifting, and transferring parts and material.
-Examines product to verify conformance to company standards.
-Reports defective parts and materials or questionable conditions to the Production supervisor or lead person.
-Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
-Performs other related operations as required or directed.
-May assist in various areas as production needs require.
