Vontier People Operations Intern in Minneapolis, Minnesota
As a People Operations Intern, you will assist the People Operations team with key projects focused on talent acquisition and compliance. You will gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment and develop skills in talent acquisition, project management, and human resources management.
What you will do
Project Support:
Assist with the planning and execution of talent acquisition and compliance projects.
Help in researching and analyzing data for project reports.
Coordinate and monitor project schedules and timelines.
Support the HR team in developing project-related documentation and presentations
HR Functions:
Contribute to the improvement of HR systems and processes.
Support the HR team in daily administrative tasks.
Work collaboratively to schedule and coordinate interviews.
Ensure compliance with employment-related regulations, pay transparency and established policies and procedures.
Learning and Development:
Receive mentorship and guidance from experienced HR professionals.
Attend meetings to gain a broader understanding of HR functions.
Other duties as assigned, with or without accommodation.
Who You Are
Currently enrolled in or already achieved a Bachelor’s degree in business management or human resource management (or equivalent).
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and time-management skills.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
The base compensation range for this position is $21.00 to $23.00 per hour. Your actual hourly rate will be determined based upon a number of factors which may include relevant experience, skills, location (labor market data), credentials (education, certifications), and internal equity.
