Darien Center. Six Flags Darien Lake. Plumber. Staring at $20/hour. Job Summary: The Plumber provides fully skilled technical services within the Plumbing department. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Assembling, installing and repairing pipes, fittings and fixtures of heating, water and drainage systems, according to specifications and plumbing codes. * Locating and marking positions of pipe and connections. * Cutting openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and fittings. * Cutting, threading and bending pipe composed of iron, steel, brass, clay, and plastic using hand and power tools. * Maintain inventory and equipment on a daily basis. Skills and Qualifications: * Minimum of 3-4 years Journeyman experience in plumbing. * Thorough working knowledge of dispensing (liquid) units and fire systems. * Working knowledge of the plumbing code and industry trends. * Valid Driver's license. * Must be a team player, motivated, dedicated, and able to delegate tasks and duties as needed to achieve company success. * Position requires full availability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays. Other Functions: All other duties assigned or necessary to support the park as a whole.
