Job Description
Analyze and execute corporate finance transactions involving power, natural resources, and infrastructure industries particularly in the North and Latin American markets. Support Relationship Managers with deal origination, product promotion and deal execution over all geographies comprising Latin America. Perform credit analyses in support of deal structuring and execution processes. Conduct portfolio and credit monitoring. Oversee compliance and administrative matters. Mentor junior analysts.
Requirements: Bachelor’s in Business Administration, Management, Economics, Finance, or Industrial Engineering, plus four years of experience in the position offered or an associate or analyst position in an international bank. Two years of the required experience must have included performing credit analyses to support credit application and deal structuring processes; developing customized and flexible financial models; performing economic and industry research in the deal structuring process, and executing transactions for various sectors, including infrastructure, power generation and transmission, renewable energy, and natural resources for clients in Latin America; using credit monitoring techniques and tools to analyze financial data and compile regulatory reports; helping negotiate deal terms and conditions; and preparing internal and external financial reports and memorandums, including KYC and local regulatory reports. Must be willing to travel domestically and internationally approximately 10% of the time. This role entails hybrid work, with time split between working in our New York, NY office and flexibility to telecommute from another U.S. location.
Salary range: $176,571 to $200,000/year.
