Chemical Process Technician

Bolder Industries is seeking a motivated individual to join our dynamic team as the
Chemical Process Technician in Terre Haute. The successful candidate will be a team-
player and will be responsible for performing general operations and maintenance to the facility and equipment. All work will be done in compliance with EPA, Hazmat and OSHA safety rules and regulations. If you have at least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing processing and maintenance role, we encourage you to apply for this position.
Bolder Industries is changing the way we handle waste in the United States and beyond. BIs primary goal is to keep tires out of landfills by giving them a second life. Our proprietary process allows us to extract 98% of each tire to create valuable bi-products such as
recycled carbon black, direct power and liquid fuels. We accomplish this while maintaining high standards of environmental stewardship.

The Chemical Process Technician will be responsible for the following:

Ensuring the final product meets quality and specification standards.
Operating the finishing line to achieve optimum, effective utilization.
Preventative maintenance tasks.
Operate a forklift
Facility maintenance
Work independently
Self starter

Requirements and Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent degree
Ability to follow instructions and procedures
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Be a Team player with a winning attitude.
Ability to work independently for long periods
Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision
Industrial maintenance experience
Welding (Mig and Arc) preferred
Fabrication preferred
Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting
PLC experience preferred
Building, plumbing and electrical experience

Work conditions:

This is a physically demanding job that may require lifting, squatting, bending and at times exposure to different climates. The manufacturing plant environment may be hot, noisy,
and/or dirty with carbon black at times. Our manufacturing operation is a chemical process and includes working with carbon black stream, a liquid hydrocarbon oil and a hydrocarbon vapor. Safety glasses with side shields, safety shoes, hearing protection, and at times a dust respirator will be required in manufacturing areas.
