Shift: 1845-0715 (Nights) 12 hour

Labor and Delivery  

Our Labor and Delivery unit is a fast-paced environment that includes high acuitypatients. Are you looking to increase your knowledge base? Our leadership team fosters an environment that supportslearning, mentoring, and building every team member. 

 Patient Population:Level III Maternal and Neonatal Designation 

Number of Beds: 10 Labor and Delivery Suites, 4 obstetrical emergency beds, 2 operating rooms, 2 PACU beds, 5 high risk antepartum beds.

 Department Specifics: Strong team atmosphere and culture of unity, over 200+ deliveries per month, Board-Certified OB Physician on-site 24/7, numerous labor support tools, strong focus on quality and process improvement, including active participation in the Texas AIM Plus initiative, focus on individual’s career and future goals, and strong unit nursing certification rate.

Registered Nurse Requirements 

  • Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program 
  • 2 YEARS OF LABOR AND DELIVERY EXPERIENCE - REQUIRED
  • License/Certification  
  • RN – Registered Nurse 
  • BLS – Basic Life Support (required within 30 days of hire)

  • Grad of an Accredited Program
  • Specialized field of study should be nursing.
  • A current and valid nursing license.
  • Must have BLS certification or get it within 30 days of starting in this role.
  • A minimum of (2) years L&D RN experience
