Job Title: Full Stack Web Developer, Workforce ProductsPosition: Full Stack Web Developer, Workforce ProductsHours: Monday-Friday, 35 hours/week (includes a mandatory unpaid meal break after 6 hours).Contract Duration: 1820 hours (1 Year)Work Model: Hybrid (3 days in office/2 days remote)Location: New YorkHourly Rate: $85.00 - $98.00Responsibilities:Develop software based on prioritized backlog, adhering to NYC Opportunitys and MyCitys development practices.Write unit tests and conduct functional testing with City Engineering leads.Learn new programming languages or frameworks with support from City Engineering leads.Participate in architecture discussions, providing technical input as requested.Attend mandatory agile ceremonies: standup, pointing, retro, show & tell, etc.Communicate technical decisions, needs, and priorities within the agile product delivery team.Assist in scoping and leading technical transitions of content management systems.Mandatory Skills/Experience:Minimum 8 years of software development experience in specified technologies.Proficient in Git-based workflows.Familiarity with story-based workflows, Azure DevOps, JIRA, Trello, or similar.Experience in creating technical design or implementation planning documents.Desirable Skills/Experience:Strong front-end engineering experience.Expertise in building/architecting large complex systems.Excellent communication and translation skills.Decision-making experience in selecting technologies.Integration experience with design system libraries.Proficiency in Vue.js, PHP, WordPress.
