About Us: CNC Machining and manufacturer of a wide variety of precision metal parts. Turning range from ¼” to 12” diameter

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist with manual machinist capabilities to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating and programming CNC machines to produce high-quality parts according to specifications. The CNC Machinist will be responsible for setting up machinery, programming CNC controls, monitoring machine operations, and ensuring that products meet quality standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate CNC machines including lathes, mills, and grinders.
  • Set up and operate manual machines including gun drills, surface grinders, polishers, and lathes as needed.
  • Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine machining requirements.
  • Program CNC controls using CAM software or manual programming methods.
  • Select appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and materials for each job.
  • Load raw materials into machines and monitor machining processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Perform routine maintenance on machinery and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
  • Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards and make adjustments as necessary.
  • Document job activities, including materials used, machining times, and any deviations from specifications.
  • Collaborate management and other team members to optimize machining processes and improve productivity.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in machining preferred.
  • Proven experience as a CNC Machinist, with proficiency in operating and programming CNC machines.
  • Strong understanding of machining principles, tooling selection, and blueprint reading.
  • Proficiency in CAM software such as AutoCad, SolidWorks, or similar programs.
  • Familiarity with a variety of materials including metals, plastics, and composites.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
