Job Description:
MMD Medical, a Velosity Company is searching for a Production Supervisorrole in our thermoplastics areato support our manufacturing facility in Brooklyn Park, MN. The Production Supervisor is responsible to meet corporate goals and objectives by working to achieve the maximum efficiency, quality, and safety levels for the department.
Salary: $70,000 - $92,000 based on experience.
Schedule: This role works on 1st shift, but does oversee both 1st and 2nd shift teams.
This is an on-site position.

Essential Duties:
Create an empowered and highly engaged team
Ensure all personnel are safely working to the standard
Work with technical individuals to assign daily tasks based on a prioritized schedule
Utilize problem solving tools to get to the root cause
Update set up instructions, cycle sheets, and operator instructions as needed
Ensure all company policies and procedures are being adhered to by employees
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve safety, quality, cost and delivery
Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED
Certificate Machine Trades or equivalent work experience preferred
Associates Business preferred
3-5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
Able to become familiar with the many types of resins used in thermoplastic injection molding
Efficient in Microsoft Suite products including Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point
Ability to effectively and efficiently balance competing priorities with strong attention to detail


Work Conditions & Physical Demands:
Manufacturing environment, exposure to heat, noise, dust, dirt, oil and water. Sitting, Standing, Walking, Kneeling, Bending, Reaching, Talking, Seeing, Hearing
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
Licensing/Registration/Certification:
Valid identification and the ability to work legally in the United States.
