Description

Qualified applicants are board certified/board eligible in Cardiovascular Disease who possess outstanding clinic, technical and interpersonal skills and training from top-rated institutions. Primary site at Emory University Hospital (EUH). Credentials at Emory University Hospital Midtown (EUHM) and Emory Saint Joseph Hospital (ESJH). Up to 0.2 FTE at Arthur M. Blank Children's Hospital of Atlanta (CHOA).


Clinical duties with the ACHD program, 9 clinical sessions per week with effort divided among:

  • Outpatient clinic and inpatient consultative service at EUH
  • Interpretation of Echocardiograms for ACHD
  • Interpretation of cardiac MR imaging for ACHD
  • Full participation in the ACHD service on call rotation at EUH 1 session per week for administrative activities

*Clinical duties are subject to change at the discretion of Emory Heart & Vascular Executive Director as dictated by operational and strategic needs of the service line.


Note, in keeping with the School of Medicine Guidelines for Appointment, Promotion and Tenure, upon joining Emory you would be expected to participate in teaching, which may include occasional lectures, small group and bedside teaching, preceptorship, and mentorship. In addition, you will engage

in other scholarly or academic activities.
