Job Duties:

Perform various design studies and layout checks creations for drive shaft components such as Front/Rear drive shafts, prop shafts, half shaft and heat shields for Honda parts; New part development and product modifications based on engineering changes and create new drawings and drawing revisions; Creating 2D and 3D modelling sub-assemblies and assembly drawing using CATIA and preparing FE models using ANSA for Engine assembly; Hex and Tet mesh for shells and solid models using Hypermesh/ANSA tool; Working knowledge and experience using CAE preprocessing tools such as Hypermesh and Ansa; 3D Solid models meshed with Hex and Tet mesh with Hypermesh/ANSA to perform CFD thermal analysis using Ansys; Mesh automation using Python and APDL language for process improvements which will reduce the project turnaround time; Performing Modal and Dynamic Simulation analysis; Interaction with customer to successfully carryout project tasks; Using Uni graphics design, CAE; CATIA design and ANSYS. Position may require travel.

Minimum Requirements:

Education: 

Master’s Degree* or equiv. in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
