Job Overview

The School of Education in the College of Education, Criminal Justice, and Human Services at the University of Cincinnati (UC) is currently seeking a Project Coordinator to manage a National Institutes of Health five-year grant. This is a 12-month position with benefits. This position will have grant funding for five years with a start date April, 2024 and end date May, 2025, with the option to renew annually for up to five years.

Essential Functions


Communicating with school personnel, research team members, and community partners.
Supporting curriculum design; participant recruitment, and management of IRB and human subject activities.
Budget management, organizing meetings, managing data collection and data entry.
Coordination of all project personnel and project activities, and other duties as assigned.
Collaborate with researchers and graduate assistants at UC, and teachers/administrators/youth in high schools.
Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements


Bachelor's degree.
Highly organized, strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Knowledgeable about research principles, design, and strategies curriculum design and leadership experience.
At least one year of practical experience working with youth in a school or community is required.

Additional Qualifications Considered


Master's degree in education, psychology, sociology, or communications is preferred.
Experience managing a research project.
Experience working in a K-12 school setting.
