Join us as a Laboratory Technician, where you'll put your love of science to work in the Scientific Insourcing Services department. You'll receive all the training you need to successfully take on your new role and grow an exciting laboratory sciences career at Pace.
This candidate will be responsible for maintaining the lab spaces and supplies to support research and development laboratories. This includes maintaining equipment, supplies, and lab cleanliness that support the development of a variety of healthcare products. This role may include basic solution and sample preparation.





RESPONSIBILITIES



What you'll do
Prepares lab for daily operations, including stocking materials, equipment, safety, cleanliness, and related areas.
Completes daily/weekly equipment checks and calibrations.
Reviews, completes, and maintains equipment logs, documents, databases, and related materials and information.
General laboratory upkeep and supplies maintenance.
Maintains consumables inventory and completes regular checks for purchasing.
Disposes of laboratory materials and samples using well-established guidelines and instructions.
General laboratory activities and instrumentation potentially including: pipetting, preparation of solutions/samples/media, and operation of pH meters, autoclaves and analytical balances






QUALIFICATIONS



What you'll bring
Minimum requirement: Associate degree in science or equivalent laboratory experience
Preferred 1 year of laboratory experience
Good deductive reasoning and analytical approach to problem solving
Able to handle multiple projects concurrently, self-motivated, and results driven
Able to communicate effectively
