1st Shift, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM This position does not require regular
weekend or holiday work and has voluntary overtime! What you will
accomplish as a Material Handler: Operate pallet jack and other
non-power equipment Compares identifying information and counts weighs,
or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify
information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records
Uses computer to look up, and verify data related to incoming and
outgoing orders Retrieves products from warehouse locations and
assembles customer orders Assembles wooden or cardboard containers, or
selects preassembled containers and inserts items into containers, using
spacers, fillers, and protective paddin Affixes on packages or stencils
identifying shipping information on cartons, using stenciling equipment
Attaches identifying information and shipping instructions onto crates
or containers Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, follows
established procedures to reject damaged items, records shortages, and
corresponds with shipper and supervisor to rectify damages and shortages
Stocks items into proper locations Examines outgoing shipments to ensure
shipments meet specifications Follows all safety rules and 5S / Lean
Manufacturing procedures Perform other duties as assigned Position
Qualifications: Ability to transition from working independently to
working in a team environment A consistent work history High School
diploma or equivalent preferred Experience using basic computer skills
