Job Purpose and Impact

The Sr Talent Acquisition Consultant-Digital Technology and Data will utilize highly skilled consultative and strategic approach to support full cycle recruiting, source, assess and select to recruit digital technology and data talent. In this role, you will play a critical part in attracting and hiring top talent for our Digital Technology and Data (DTD) team across North America. You will foster close business partnerships with hiring managers and HRBPs to understand staffing needs, develop effective recruitment strategies, and build a robust pipeline of qualified candidates. Your expertise in developing talent acquisition capabilities to identify complex technical skills, assessing technical candidate suitability, and managing the recruitment process will be crucial in ensuring the success and growth of the team. This role requires a deep understanding of the talent landscape and changing drivers within this talent segment.

Key Accountabilities

  • Serve as functional domain specialist creating and executing effective recruiting networking and proactive talent pipelining strategies, collaborating with human resource and other stakeholders to identify and attract top digital, technology and data talent.

  • Utilize various recruitment channels, including online job boards, social media platforms, and professional networks, to identify, attract and engage potential candidates.

  • Lead planning, monitoring and execution of internal talent acquisition performance on a regular basis and develop actions/strategies based on outcomes and leverage data to provide the story to the business.

  • Lead and provide full cycle recruiting services including recruitment strategy sessions, candidate sourcing, interviewing, selection processes, offer management, process documentation, compliance management and status communication with candidates and hiring managers, conducting thorough screening and assessment of candidates to evaluate their technical skills and overall suitability for specific roles and establishing trust and confidence by maintaining a high level of credibility, integrity and skilled communications with hiring managers and HRBPs.

  • Consult using your talent insights and tools to partner with the hiring managers to improve the quality of hire and to set and optimize recruitment strategies as well as to improve overall hiring processes.

  • Maintain appropriate documentation of all activities to ensure policies, processes and legal requirements comply with applicable laws and company standards.

  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in tech recruitment to continuously improve the recruitment process and educate team on industry trends, market insights, and best practices within the technical recruitment industry.

  • Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience

  • Minimum of four years of related work experience

  • Experience with recruiting technology and tools

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5 years experience in technology recruitment, preferably in a senior role. Experience within a large global organization forming strong business partnerships advantageous.

  • Proven track record of successfully hiring technology professionals across various levels and disciplines.

  • Strong understanding of technology roles, skills and market trends.

  • Adept with measuring, elevating, and monitoring performance according to KPIs/ metrics on a regular basis.

  • Excellent builder of relationships and have a knack for influencing without authority.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.

  • High level of professionalism, confidentiality, accountability and ability to build trust across all relationships.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build strong relationships with candidates, hiring managers and HR Business Partners.

  • Ability to generate leads and create activity, even with the most passive of candidates.

  • Ability to work autonomously in addition to working collaboratively with a team.

  • Strong proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other HR software.
