Job Description:

Johnson 4 is a medical/surgical and cardiac telemetry Progressive Care Unit generally accepts patients 18 years of age or older with cardiac and Medical/ surgicalconditions.  Common Medical Diagnoses · Heart failure · STEMI/NSTEMI · Acute Coronary Syndrome · Syncope · Cardiac Dysrhythmia · Cerebral Vascular Accident · Circulatory disorder · Chest Pain · Pre and Post Pacemaker/AICD placement · Pre and Post Cardiac Catheterization

The orientation period is specific to the orientee and the unit in which you are working. The average medical surgical orientation is approximately a 12- week residency program. Preceptors will be assigned to you for the duration of your orientation. The clinical educator who supports your unit will remain with you through your orientation period and beyond.

    36 hours, rotating shift during Residency, every other weekend and holiday rotation required.


    Qualifications:
    BSN preferred
    • Must have completed all clinical rotations and be eligible to take the nurse registration
    • American Heart Association – Basic Life Support Certificate
