JOB REQUIREMENTS: Duties and Responsibilties of Job: Assembler cut and
measure wire or cable to ensure all wires will operate properly. Prepare
wire or cable for next process in production. Solder as required; clean
solder areas with alcohol to remove debris and excess solder. Crimp
pin/sockets onto the wires or cables; assemble into connector. Apply
heat shrinks, sleeving, labels and spot tie as required. Assembler Use
small hand tools and may use semi-automated equipment. Solder and
assemble components, using precision measuring. Test assembly after
assembling. Assembler learn to perform all Electrical and Mechanical
functions described above. Validate materials prior to beginning
assembly. Review drawings, blueprints and schematics prior to performing
assembly and use them throughout the assembly of product. Build products
for customers per specification and within tolerances. Complete all
clean-up and housekeeping procedures. Comply with all quality, safety,
and work rules and regulations. Perform other miscellaneous duties as
assigned by Leaders. Ability to read and understand the English Language
and the English Measurement System. Able to distinguish color codes.
Ability to lift and/or carry up to 30 lbs. General knowledge of either
Electrical Assembly or Mechanical Assembly. General solder ability
(jumper wires, wires to connector), depending upon the area assigned.
Education: High school Diploma or General Education Degree (GED); six
months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of
