| Required Skills: | Registered Nurse who is a graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current state registration
Nursing Care Functions:
• Ability to prioritize duties.
• Is drug knowledgeable and reports resident response, side effects and reports problems or potential problems to the physicians.
• Customer service oriented with knowledge of successful customer service techniques.
• Clinical competence to utilize the nursing process to perform physical and cognitive assessments of residents.
• Keep families updated or resident conditions
• Positive communication skills with NA/R’s, TMA’s, LPN’s, interdisciplinary team, residents and families.
• Assist in developing methods for coordinating nursing services with other resident services to ensure the continuity of resident’s total regimen of care.
• Complete and investigate accident/incident reports and assist with abuse/neglect reporting to specific agencies as needed.
• Acts as a liaison between physician, resident, family and resident care team to ensure physician orders are accurately carried out and documented using the information from the resident’s plan of care.
• Listen to shift report and keep open lines of communication with supervisor, co-workers and on-coming shift.
• Initiate and resolve follow-up and problem charting as needed.
• Ensure wing personnel on your shift are carrying out their assignments.
• Treat and ensure residents are treated with respect and dignity.
• Follows shift routines, policy/procedures regarding monitoring of vital signs, weights, administration of medications and treatments.
• Will follow facility Antibiotic Stewardship program policies and procedures
Care Plan and Assessment Function:
• Review new admission and transfers for appropriate assessment and documentation.
• Assure completion of all necessary assessments required for the RAI process.
• Participation in the ongoing review of the written plan of care for each resident for appropriate resident goals, problems, approaches and revisions based on nursing needs.
• Assist in the monitoring and assessment of seriously ill residents as needed.
• Review nurse’s notes, NAR care sheets to ensure compliance with the resident plan of care.
• Follow all DNR/DNI/CPR/comfort care protocols and orders.
Personnel Functions:
• Responsible for holding staff accountable for correctly following policies and
procedures
• Assist Staff Development RN in identifying ongoing educational and training needs
• Observe staff for proper safety techniques and infection control policies and
procedures
• Ensure the environment of the nursing unit is clean, safe, clutter free, and home-
like
• Supervision of meal service to ensure quality f life with regards to the dining

As a Registered Nurse (RN) you are responsible for the coordination, planning, implementing, and evaluating the nursing services provided to each resident at Pine Haven Care Center.
· Full and part time positions available
· Every other weekend and holiday required
· Days 6:00 AM - 2:30PM
· Evenings 2:15 PM - 10:45PM
· Night Shift 10:30 PM - 7AM
***SIGN ON BONUS $4,000****
