Job Description

 
The Lake Placid Lodge is seeking Line Cooks to join our team. The ideal candidates are driven by learning and excitement to create memorable cuisine for exceptional guest experiences each and every day. Job Responsibilities Include: Prepare and cook all food items as laid out in the menu and in accordance with the specifications on the prep sheet.Handle line assignments as scheduled (station prep and station service)Check condition of equipment; obtain necessary utensils, tools and supplies.Clean assigned workstation areas.Consistently use safe and sanitary food handling practices according to Local Health and State Laws.Any other task as defined by Executive Chef or Sous Chef.Qualifications: Proven cooking experience, including experience as a Line Chef, Restaurant Cook or Prep CookExcellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and proceduresAble to handle work in a fast-paced environment.Some culinary education preferredMust be available to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidaysBenefits Include:Paid Time OffAffordable Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance401(k) Retirement PlanFree Employee Meals (1 per shift)Opportunities for Advancement
