Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field preferred.
Three to five years of accounting experiences
Extensive knowledge of general accounting and cost accounting.
Understanding of and ability to adhere to generally accepted accounting principles.
Microsoft Office proficiency: Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams. Experience using NetSuite, a plus.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

As a result of our growth, Horizon Commercial Pools is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our team. Reporting directly to the Controller, this newly created Senior Accountant position will assist in the preparation of financial reports to track the organization’s assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liabilities and other related financial activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform general accounting and other related duties.
Prepare monthly balance sheet and income statement reconciliations.
Prepare journal entries.
Perform credit card maintenance activities, including spend monitoring.
Active participant in positive pay controls.
Reconcile customer accounts and manage accounts receivable collection efforts.
Provide outside auditors with assistance; gathers necessary account information and documents to perform annual audit.
FP&A support activities.
Sales tax filings and related activities.
