Description

Schwickert's is looking for Commercial Ductwork Installers. This position involves installation of HVAC ducts, repairing sheet metal products and equipment, such as ductwork for air handling systems. Installers also set up and operate fabricating machines to cut, bend, or straighten sheet metal, as well as operate soldering and welding equipment to join sheet metal parts.

Qualifications:
Required to take sheet metal course (Schwickert's) and factory training courses when offered.
Be able to lift and climb ladders.
Perform basic math functions and follow written or verbal instructions and safety rules.
To wear the protective equipment for each job/activity as required.
Possess a valid driver license.
Ability to safely work at heights
Ability to organize and prioritize work
Analyze information and evaluate problems
Attention to details: Inspecting equipment, structures and material -- able to identify problems or defects
Communication: Can clearly provide information to supervisors, co-workers and necessary stakeholders through verbal or written means
Safely operate vehicles, mechanical devices or equipment
Can monitor and control use of resources on site
