| Job Description: |
Need 2 full time, temporary, seasonal Ag. Equipment Operators to work at locations in Chippewa, Swift, and Kandiyohi Counties.
From: 04/01/2024 - 12/17/2024
Work: 45 hrs./week, Mon.-Fri. 8 hrs./day, Sat. 5 hrs./day.
As required in Minnesota, all hours worked in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at 1.5 times the regular rate of pay.
The employer reserves the right to increase workers' pay or provide bonuses based on tenure, performance, or other factors that are solely at the discretion of the employer.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Job requires the operation of various farm equipment to spread fertilizer and manure on fields. Equipment that workers may be required to operate includes, but is not limited to, tractors with various implements, manure spreaders, pay loaders, pressure washers, skid steers, mowers, and floater trucks. Job duties also include properly mixing fertilizer and manure slurry; loading fertilizer and slurry into spreaders; performing general maintenance, repairs and/or clean-up of all farm equipment; Daily duties may vary depending on crop, weather, and field conditions.
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Three (3) months experience.
Must have or be able to obtain a Class D Driver's License within 30 days of hire. Basic English literacy and math skills are required. Able to lift 50 lbs. Job will require periods when workers may be exposed to varying weather conditions and extensive pushing, pulling, sitting, or walking. Random criminal background checks may occur post-hire at the employer's expense. These checks may be performed to ensure a safe housing and work environment for all workers. No minimum education required.
EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts. Required work-related tools and supplies provided free of charge by employer.
