Actalent Controls Technician in Champlin, Minnesota
Description:
In this role, you will be traveling up to 50% of the time nationwide. In this exciting role within our Industrial Controls team, you will be responsible for providing on-site support, troubleshooting, maintenance, and commissioning of control systems and automation equipment at client sites across North America. This role will be delivering top-notch systems and services to our clients nationwide. You will work closely with our engineering and project team to ensure the successful deployment and ongoing operation of control systems.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
B.S., A.S., A.A.S or equivalent technical certification in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field.
A minimum of 3 years’ experience in related fields
Familiarity in Google® Suite- including Sheets, Docs, Gmail and Drive.
Use must have a valid Driver’s License and the ability to operate company vehicles.
Must be organized and willing to work in different conditions.
Knowledge of various automation and control platforms is a plus, i.e. Allen-Bradley PLC's
Ability to use a digital multimeter.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
Excellent customer facing communication and interpersonal skills.
Willingness to travel extensively at least and work in various locations.
Travel will be up to 50% of the time
Knowledge of electrical safety protocols and procedures.
