Required Skills:
Minimum Qualifications:
• Technical or Vocational training, or a minimum 2 years of experience with diesel/heavy equipment repair
• Valid Driver's License and ability to obtain and/or maintain a DOT medical card and CDL Class A or B License.
• DOT Certification a plus
• Be able to work independently and together
• Self-motivated to perform tasks with little or no direction
• Able to pass a drug, cannabis, and alcohol test
• Experience with John Deere Service Advisor a plus

• Monday – Friday with some weekends and overtime
• Physical Functional Requirements
o Stooping and bending -- also lifting while stooping and bending.
o Crawling on hands and knees.
o Reaching out and overhead -- also lifting while reaching out and overhead.
o Climbing stairs and ladders. Also climbing on uneven grounds and into and out of excavations. Also climbing on equipment.
o Twisting at the waist and neck.
o Balancing and carrying material and equipment.
o Walking on even and uneven, rough ground.

Northern Dewatering, the Midwest’s premier Dewatering and Bypass contractor was founded in 1984. Northern Dewatering is seeking a self-motivated and high-energy individual to join our Diesel Technician team!

This position will be based out of our Rogers, MN headquarters and is a fulltime non-exempt position.

Primary Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Perform maintenance, repair, and diagnosis on Northern Dewatering’s diesel trucks, pumps, generators, and equipment
• Performing maintenance and repair on all aspects of diesel equipment include, but not limited to engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, air, brakes, drive-train, steering, suspension, tires, etc.
• Quality checks on completed repairs
• Document in detail, work performed on repairs
• Utilizing diagnostic equipment
• Assist other mechanics
• Maintain a clean and safe shop/working area
• Travel to job sites to maintain and repair diesel trucks, generators, pumps, and equipment as needed
• Be able to diagnose and repair equipment quickly and efficiently
