Required Skills:
Must be able to work independently, problem solve, manage time well and perform a variety of tasks with frequent interruptions. Must be flexible and able to work with a diverse team and clientele. The driver may interact with clients with marginal English language skills as needed, so fluency in English and another language (e.g. Hmong, Karen, Khmer, Vietnamese) is preferred.

High School Diploma or GED preferred. Six months experience driving passengers preferred. Valid MN Driver's License with minimum 1 year driving experience and good driving record required.

This is a part time position.

Duties
We are seeking a part-time driver (20hrs/wk) in our Community and Mental Health & Wellness programs. The driver will be responsible for driving program vans to transport clients to and from their home to program locations, community field trips, social service meetings, medical appointment and other program activities. They will assist with loading and unloading clients from the van when needed, troubleshoot and resolve client concerns on the van, and ensuring all daily van safety checklists and other procedural documents are completed and filed daily. Driver will assist in group set up, reminder calls and other assistance as instructed. The driver will adhere to all foundation policies and regulatory requirements, including driver and safety policies and procedures.
