The Technology Leadership Development Program (TLDP) immerses high potential early talent in two 12-month assignments in various areas of Terex Information Technology. Rotations will support our business segments and/or Shared Services function which may include various areas of IT (Cyber Security, Project Management Office, Platform & Applications and Global Infrastructure Operations & Support) and may be anywhere in the US. The cross-functional assignments, along with a structured training curriculum will provide an opportunity to expand your Technology skills and your knowledge of Terex's business. We expect TLDP participants to have an interest in taking a leadership career path, as the cross-functional exposure creates well-rounded team members who understand how the business works and how the Technology function contributes to our company's success. Terex provides development opportunities throughout the program, including mentorship and peer coach partnerships, high visibility in the company, and an on-site training and networking event at the Terex Corporate Headquarters in Norwalk, CT USA.
The TLDP is open to early talent candidates who have an interest in the Manufacturing / Supply Chain industry, have a track record of good performance, are flexible with regards to relocation and/or extensive travel, and who are committed to completing the program. First rotations begin in June 2024.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities will be dependent on business needs and might be tailored to individual strengths and interests. However, you can expect to -
Develop a robust understanding of Terex products and services, how the technology function engages with and supports the business, and how team leadership and influencing skills as a technology leader are critical to the success of the organization.
Lead short and medium-term duration projects, building an action-oriented skill set that enables successful project delivery and confidence from project team members and matrix partners.
Enjoy dedicated coaching and mentoring from industry authorities while working on critically important projects that will prepare you for your own leadership role.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college/university
Minimum 3.5 GPA required
Track record of demonstrable accomplishments in school and at work
Commitment to two 12-month assignments
Ability to relocate within the US
Ability to travel anywhere globally
Strong desire to take a leadership career path
Prior internship experience or up to 5 years of work experience in a related field preferred
Proof of leadership experience through internships, previous employment or extracurriculars
Project strong communication skills
Preferred Skills:
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Agile / Project Management Processes
ERP Systems (Oracle, SAP)
Database technologies (SQL)
Ability to work independently
Action oriented and strong follow-up
Positive, can-do attitude; problem-solver, self-starter
The salary range for this position is $70,000 - 75,000 USD.
