MAIN FUNCTION:

- To be responsible for the direct treatment of an assigned caseload of patients who are addicted to alcohol or any other mind/mood altering substances.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide group, individual, and family counseling.
• Complete assessments, admissions, treatment plans, and reviews.
• Document all services provided.
• Maintain contact with referral sources and send progress reports.
• Attend case conferences, supervision, and staff meetings.
• Ensure compliance with Seafield policies and confidentiality regulations.
• Complete discharge and transitional planning, including referrals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS:

• Assessment & referral
• Treatment planning and review
• Group, individual, and family counseling
• Didactic presentation
• Documentation and crisis intervention
• Age-specific clinical skills (Adolescents, Geriatric)
• Knowledge of Medication Assisted Treatment

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS:

LMSW, LMHC, CASAC or CASAC eligible.
